A pair of high international signing bonus players, Raymond Mola and Bralyn Brazoban, have been promoted to the Florida Complex League from the Dominican Summer League.
Mola, 19, was a part of the 2023 international class out of the Dominican Republic, signing for $600,000. He struggled to stay healthy the last two years, playing in a total of 30 games. Healthy this season, he has looked much better, hitting .311/.492/.533 (174 wRC+) with three home runs and 12 stolen bases. He also has walked (14) more than he has struck out (12).
Brazoban, 18, got a significant bonus last year ($2 million) and has struggled since turning pro, striking out over 30% of the time in 2024. He's playing slightly better this year, but still below what you would want out of someone who signed the bonus he did.
In 20 games, Brazoban has hit .231/.292/.277 but has cut his strikeouts down by nearly 15%.
